Wake Up and Dream: the show

This witty show makes audiences laugh, cry, and eventually dance. The original music by Tim Olsen, Associate Professor of Music at Union College in Schenectady, New York, combines with a story line by Mary Jane Fryer, freelance writer and sometime contributor to dance magazines, to make the perfect “magnet event”, fundraiser or just a great time for cast as well as audience. Social dancing, repeating the music from the show follows the hour-long performance.

Dancers love it because it’s so original and allows for every level of dancing. Organizers think it’s perfect because the plot is absolutely family friendly. Fundraisers find it ideal since the logo reproduces beautifully on t-shirts and baseball caps to be sold at performances. Musicians appreciate the spectacular music making*.

Easy to assemble sets and props, fabulous dancers, original music and a theme song by Helmut Licht, Music Editor for the United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association all create an event to remember.
